# BadgeBox > BadgeBox is a cloud HR and workforce management platform for companies of any size, made in Italy and part of the Adecco Group. People clock in from their phone, the browser, an NFC badge or a shared tablet; from those clock-ins the platform builds the timesheet day by day, keeps holiday and time-off balances, plans shifts, collects expense notes with a photo of the receipt, stores documents and gets them signed, and turns the month into the figures the payroll office needs. An AI assistant works inside those same screens — it reads a receipt, finds the days that do not add up, writes a calculation rule — and agents carry the routine part of the month on their own, asking a person whenever a decision is theirs to take. ## What it is The problem BadgeBox is built around is not recording hours: it is that a huge part of administrative work consists of reminding other people what they have to do. Holidays to request, supporting documents to send, approvals to give, job reports to fill in. BadgeBox does the reminding as the month goes by and comes to a person only when a decision is needed. Everything hangs off one fact — the clock-in — and nothing is collected twice. It reads a photographed receipt and fills the expense note in; it goes through a month of clock-ins and lists the days that do not add up, with the reason; it writes the calculation rule for an overtime band from a sentence in plain language; it prepares the layout of an export for a particular payroll office; it drafts a shift plan over the declared availability. Agents go one step further: they run on a schedule, look at the data, and get in touch with the people concerned — «three days last week have no clock-out, what time did you leave?» — then write the correction the person dictates.
